Semiconductor surplus down to $500 mln in Q1 2005

iSuppli is estimating that the surplus has halved to $500 mln in Q1 2005 from $1.03 bln in Q4 2004. iSuppli had previously predicted that the value of the surplus would diminish by 24% to $780 mln in Q1 2005.
